Lets Meantion the UNMEANTIONABLE

ok ok I  know that this is probably TMI but I just gotta ask if anyone else is having this problem. I had made drastic changes in my diet. I used to live on fast food!!! And as a obsessive complusive overeater trust me it was a trememdous amount of fast food to boot.  I have lost the majority of the weight I have so far (over 100lbs) by exercising and trying to control the amount of food I eat. but you come to a stage where you gotta do more so I have been eating more food again. Just this time more fresh fruits and veggies all I want to eat as long as its not cooked in butter or oils. and lemme tell you its great I am down 11 lbs since Saturday.

 now for the unmeantionable part

HORRIBLE GAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am going to run myself away from the house and kill the pets with the fumes! and I tried gasx and no help.

PLEASE when you are done laughing give me some advice

Your body will eventually adapt. Might I suggest keeping the windows open and wearing a sweater to keep warm? I don’t know what to do for the pets… mine don’t seem to be bothered by it. In fact they are pretty obnoxious themselves. They must be eating healthy, too. ;)

I have a lot of gas too since I started eating more vegetables and fruits. I take an over the counter pill like GasX.

I know exactly what you mean, for me broccoli is really bad. My Mom swears Maloox helps gas.

Sandy at first I read your reply and was like “hummmmm wear a sweater” then I realized it was end of September and cold to a lot of folks. Still have my a/c on here in FLa but hoping it will cool enough to turn it off and open windows soon. thanks for the advice

I can’t give you any advice becuz you’re making me laugh so hard Oh my word, you’re funny. I use Beano and that helps me stay gas-free. I am really falling out tickled.

I don’t know about you, but I would rather have veggie-buster-booty-shake gas than Taco-Bell-Ate-Too-Late-Knock-Hubby-Outta-Da-Bed-Gas anyday. Keep up the good work!

Cabbage soup diet is the WORST for this… not to mention I didnt lose any weight. That was the reason I decided to join buddyslim instead of fad dieting! Your body should adapt.

Oh my God, my b/f has the worst gas problem… his solution - let it rip anyway. He always says “better out than in”…. hmmmmm.

I think your body will eventually get used to the extra fibre you’re taking in. Maybe increase your water intake a bit. Sometimes when you increase fibre (like with all the veggies and fruit you’re eating now) and you dont increase your water intake, eh, you can get a bit blocked up and windy.

We are running the a/c here too still in Sunny Southern California - - supposed to be 101 here today!

I have no clue how to tackle gas haha. I know with bell peppers I get burpy a lot. I read the above comments and I think that they are all pretty interesting!
